Love story

"Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone.
I'll be waiting; all that's left to do is run.
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess,
It's a love story, baby, just say, 'Yes.' "

Seemed familiar?
Well of course! It was Love Story by Taylor Swift which were once popular few years back. I still remembered that everyone used to sing it everywhere; in the classes, bedroom, hall, and most importantly.. in the toilet! Hahaha.

Why am I talking about this love story?
First of all, you must understand that I don't have any boyfriend and of course, I am still single.
The reason I wrote this because it seemed that every single day people talked about love story, how sweet the couple is and yada yada. It was not because I'm jealous of me being a single lady. Heck no! But it was a really sad, sad situation where people kept on dreaming to have such a romantic love story of their own but little they knew that this life wasn't always like that. Love makes you goes around. Well of course it is. Sometimes you are having good time but sometime you're relationship will be tested and you'll be at the lowest point of your life. Accept the bittersweet of life. It wasn't like those movies or novels which always have happy ending. Yours written by God, not the humankind.

Frankly speaking, I'm not jealous of those people who were in relationship. No way! Good for you. I pray for your happiness. But the thing is that we have always been told that 'this is sweet', 'they are so romantic'.. Well of course they are. People will always want to show their best, not the worst.

Sometimes I felt so sick with those kind of love story. Typical.
Call me heartless like Davy Jones but yeah.. I don't really care.

I do think that we have a lot of things that we really need to focus on rather that those love stories. I don't say that it is wrong. No way (I still read romance novel though). But it makes me think that I need to think about something else. Something much bigger and important. Like for example, how are we going to give proper education to those who are living in the rural are? How are we going to make our community understand the importance of taking good care of their health?

Well, this is only my 2 cents. I'm deeply sorry if this post hurts you. But it just came through my mind that I need to give importance to something else. Something that have benefits, not only to me but also to others.

without wax,
haniyahaya :)
