It is 12:09 a.m.
The holiday is over.

No more curling up in the bed.
No more movie or drama marathon.
No more playing around here and there.
No more day-dreaming.

It is time to study.

Savings

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

I had a talk with my mum. I told my mum that some of my friends will be further their studies abroad, mostly Australia and New Zealand. I asked my mum, "Is it really hard to survive in Australia?" (since my parents used to study there long time ago)

My mum said, it was not that hard to survive in Aussie, not with a good and proper management. I agreed with her. As a student, we should have a proper management, especially when it comes to money. Sometimes, the sponsored students (not all) are so happy when they have received their monthly allowance and prefer to enjoy with all the money that they've got. They love to spend all those money with brand-new gadgets, shopping on expensive clothes and many more without realizing that they should spend all the money that they've got in a correct way (studies, etc.).

I started to ponder.

Think.
Change.

Recently, I had participated in a program; Seminar Baitul Muslim 2.0. It was a great experience for me.  There was a slot, 'Fulu$ oh Fulu$' that made me realize that I really need to start saving from now on. It is not only for the wedding, but for the life after it. Marriage life is not like a bed of roses.

Let's start saving from now on. It is for our own good. We will never know what will happen in the future. Better be safe than sorry. It's okay. We'll start from something small and simple. For example, start bring your own drinks from home instead of buying a bottle of mineral water every day. It is cheaper and makes  you healthy as well as you'll be keep hydrated. Start something simple but make sure it is continuous.

There are actually lots of things that you can do. Whatever it is, it is all depends on you, whether you want to do it or not. The choice is in your hands!

How to cure laziness?

We are all having busy schedules whether we are students, parents, spouse or working all-time. We need to take care of our studies, families, deadlines, works and many more hence will decrease our energy level. When our energy level has declined, we tend to procrastinate and being lazy and not to forget, we also tend to give so many excuses for not doing all the things that we are suppose to do. This procrastination too may caused you to delay your prayer, suffer at the school and not to do well at work.

You might ask yourself, how to deal with this habit? How to overcome procrastination?
Here are few tips that you can consider to cure this bad habit of yours:

1) Make du'a

Source : Google.com

Our Prophet Muhammad PBUH has taught us a du'a :

اللّهُمَّ إنِّي أعُوذُبِكَ مِن العَجزِ وَ الكَسلٍ

"O Allah, I seek refuge in you from incapability and laziness."

Prophet Muhammad PBUH teaches us to make this du'a to protect us from the disease which is laziness. Laziness is actually a disease of the heart which we cannot see by our naked eye, but this disease has a very bad prognosis which can lead to other problems.

Try to memorize this du'a. Whenever you feel so bored, lazy or tired, simply make this du'a and seek refuge in Allah.

2) Adjust your sleep habit

A person once said that, " If you want to have a successful day, you need to sleep on time." It is true. In this modern era, we have high-speed internet, smartphones and all those social networks like Facebook and Twitter that make us difficult to sleep on time. We use to check our email, Facebook notifications, or watch something on Youtube before we go to the bed and thus make us staying up so late and reduce our sleeping time. Thus, when we wake up in the next morning, the quality of the whole day is not at the maximum level.

The amount of sleep you need on regular basis for optimal performance depends on various factors and one of them is age. For school-age children, they might need 10 to 11 hours of sleeping while adults might need 7 to 8 hours of sleeping. The quality of your sleep also plays an important role as much as your quantity of sleep. If your sleep is frequently interrupted or cut short, you're not getting quality sleep.

So now, try to adjust back your sleep habit. Make sure you go to the bed on time and lastly, avoid taking meals and caffeine close to your bedtime.

3) Be physically fit

Be physically fit doesn't mean that you need to be athletes like Usain Bolt or Muhammad Ali. It also doesn't mean that you need to have the gym membership. All you need is to be healthy to live an active lifestyle and beat procrastination.

There are so many things that you can do to keep your body healthy and increase you physical and mental energy. Just simply jog for 30 minutes for three times a week. If you don't like jogging, you may try to go for swimming and other physical activities.

4) Take care of your eating habit

Having a good eating habit is really important. Nowadays, people don't really care much about what they eat. Because of the limited time and hectic lifestyle, they prefer to have fast foods which are not good for health. Overweight and obesity are so common and become the major problems, instead of malnutrition and infectious diseases. Obesity can cause many health problems such as coronary heart disease, hypertension and stroke, pulmonary diseases and many more.

So, to conquer laziness, one should really take good care of his or her eating habit. Eat nutritious food and drink plenty of water. Avoid oily and high carbohydrates food. Control your daily sugar and salt intake and not to forget, don't skip the breakfast. Breakfast is really important for you to stay energetic for the whole day. Skipping breakfast is a common strategy for those who want to loose weight because they think they could cut the calories, but unfortunately, it is not a really successful strategy. When you don't eat breakfast you may feel so hungry by lunch time that you eat more foods than you normally would. You may also be tempted to choose foods that are not the healthiest choices such as junk foods when you feel like you're starving.

Laziness is truly a disease and we really need to make serious effort to fight in. It is the source of our weakness and defeat. So, what are you waiting for? It is time to challenge ourselves, improve our lifestyle and beat laziness and procrastination InshaAllah.

Habis

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Alhamdulillah. Nafas lega ditarik sedalam-dalamnya. Final exam dah habis. It's holiday!

Sumber : deviantART

Kalau ikutkan gaya menjawab soalan exam, agak horror. Masakan tidak?

Paper SEQ, dia mintak microorganism untuk dengue, diberinya Aedes aegypti. Itu vector, bukan microorganism lah woi!

Paper MEQ, memang hancur lebur bila dia bagi case study pasal Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) tapi akibat tersalah diagnose, pergi letak Haemophilia.

Kena fokus, takleh main-main. Habis nanti kalau salah diagnose, tak ke naya patient? Kot dibuatnya patient kena TB, tapi diagnose sarcoidosis. Pastu bagi steroids. Kesian sungguh kat patient tu nanti.

Plan untuk cuti ni, memang berehat sunguh-sungguh kat rumah. Takde nak gi mana-mana. Jealous betul tengok kawan-kawan yang dok merantau negara orang sana-sini. Takpelah, takde rezeki lagi. Lagipun nak kena menyimpan, guna untuk study. Duit yang diterima tu amanah daripada Allah. Tak boleh sewenang-wenangnya nak belanja ikut suka hati.

Sekian,

Rehlah

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Pagi tadi kami ada rehlah. First time join rehlah macam ni. Yelah! Nak exam kot. Orang nak study. Tapi, tetap pujuk hati kecil ini. Hey, it's not half bad aite? Give a shot huh? Join je lah. Bukannya kejap. Sebelum Zuhur dah habis.

Stress oh exam!

Ecece~ First time kot masak untuk ramai orang makan. Arina ketua chef di dapur. Hehehe ^^

Program rehlah ni banyak games. First, game pijak belon.
T__T

Game kedua, mini futsal. Game ni paling best bagi saya sebabnya dah lama gila tak main futsal. Rindu sangat! Last main masa program KIKA kat MRSM Gerik. Kumpulan saya menang 2-1. I managed to score one goal. Lulz! :)

Actually ada banyak lagi games. Teka lukisan, siapa paling panjang dan game ukhuwwah. Lepas games, kami dikehendaki beri ibrah berdasarkan kesemua games yang dah kami sertai. Sesi taujih lepas tu pun santai.

Walaupun baru first time jumpa, tapi terasa macam dah lama kenal. Subhanallah! :)

Hopefully, saya dapat join lagi program macam ni. Seronok sangat sebab boleh lepaskan stress sebab sibuk menghadap buku (ceh..konon). Hilang sikit rasa stress nak exam.

Okay.. Dah dah. Dah penat main, dah refill energy baru, dah tanam azam baru. Now, get back to your study Hani!

Final exam - Bring it on!
